Hi,
Bit of a novice here, so treat me gently
I am doing a 9-box for my employer, which looks at 3 levels of performance (high, medium, low) and 3 levels of potential (yes, you guessed it, high, medium and low!).
The spreadsheet I have created has:
- One column (D) for performance, where the manager selects "High", "Medium", or "Low".
- An adjacent column (E) for potential, where the manager selects "High", "Medium", or "Low".
- A column next to this (F) for the 9-box rating, where there are 9 options. For example, if the manager has selected "High" performance, and "High" potential, then the 9-box rating would be "Top Talent".
My question is whether the text values the manager selects in columns D and E can drive the answer for F via some form of look-up table, or if this would need to be a manual selection from the 9 available options?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Cheers from a windy and slightly overcast London.
Burt
