Division or Multiplication in two adjation cells

    Hi,
What I am wondering is if two cells e.g. A1 and B1 and you enter a figure into A1 then B1 will multiply that figure by 12 but (here's where it confuses me) if you enter a figure in B1 then A1 will divide it by 12. I am trying to do it without the help of using extra cells but cannot find a way with conditional formatting.
Just to clarify if 2 was entered into A1 then B1 would show 24 but if you entered 36 into B1 then A1 would show 3

    Can that be done?

Thankyou for any and all replies.

    Alan

Changed the title but not sure how to describe it properly.

If A1 has a figured entered into it then B1 will take that figure and multiply it by 12 but if B1 has a figured entered into it then A1 will take that figure and divide it by 12 is the only way I know how to describe it.

A single cell can not be a static value and formula at same time.
    VBA would be right solution.
