excel closes when attempting to add form data

Hi I have created a simple form with 8 headings i.e. first name, last name etc. If I leave the form with no changes everything works.
The problem arises when I add in a few auto sum calculations to total some of the entry's.
When I open the form and click on the table and then choose the form to add the data the excel book closes instead of opening the box to insert the new data??

any thoughts??

Please upload a workbook or a representative cut down copy, anonymised if necessary. It is always easier to advise if we can see your request in its context.

Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious how you have arrived at your results some explanatory notes as well.
