Hi there,
I have connected to SQL to get a table of around 1000 rows.
I then used PowerQuery to duplicate the source data in to 10 queries and filtered each so I can have 10 tabs in Excel showing relevant data.
However, when I make a change to the SQL database, only the initial table is updated.
Is there a way in which all versions of the source data can be updated when a refresh is performed?
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

They should all update if you refresh all ...
What settings have you used for the 10 sub-queries?

I also expected them to update but from testing only the initial table updates.
I am unaware of applying any settings to the sub-queries.
I right-clicked the main query -> Duplicate -> Renamed, then filtered a single column within the table.
The above steps are the same for all 10 sub-queries.
Right-click - properties - what settings have you there?
There is no reason why they should not update if you've used the default settings.
Can't really say anything more without seeing a sample.
Yeah all sub-queries are default with the following options checked:
- Enable background refresh
- Refresh this connection on Refresh All
Thanks to your affirmations, I have realised the mistake must have been due to the queries I have written rather than connection issues.
The issue was due to changing the original query after copying an older version of it... DOH!!

Ah, yes - that would make a difference. I tend to use reference rather than Duplicate wherever possible.
