Looking for advice. I've got an excel form that users can download (at work, machines all same software versions etc) which contains drop down lists.

The data in the drop downs can be subject to change, and would be changed centrally (not by users) has anyone had this same issue and what did you do? I was thinking if there's a way to have the drop down linked to another sheet maybe but how would that work?
Also the form has macros so they have to download it but I need a way to make sure they don't just use an old version
