Cannot change text to numbers

I need the numbers in Column F to be actual numbers. When trying to use the data in formulas it looks at the cells as text. I have tried to copy and paste, paste with multiply, formulas to change. Nothing works Please help.

=CHAR(160)

copy the cell, highlight Col F, Edit & Replace, Paste (copied value) into Find All dialog, press Replace All.
