    Highlight Today's Date IF

    Hi

Is there a way to highlight today's date in a column dependant on a lookup list item?

I have a columnn with a list of dates called 'Next Contact Date' and the next column is called 'Complete' with a yes/no lookup list, what i'm trying to achieve is that today's date is highlighted if the lookup list item is No but unhighlight if the lookup list item is Yes.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks

    Alex

    Re: Highlight Today's Date IF

    Welcome to the forum.

You'll need a simple conditional formatting rule.

Assuming today's date is in A1 and the YES/NO lookup is in D1, then the rule for A1 is this:

    =D1="YES"

If you've over-simplified your description of what you want, then there are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.
