Post Arranging a table of raw data in ascending order

Attached is a picture of my raw data. What Excel function could I use to instantly arrange these values in ascending order from cell B2 until cell D7? The aim is to only alter the position of each value and not the table or the number of rows and columns.

    Welcome to the forum.

Your values are all already in ascending order, so this is not really a sensible sample dataset!!!

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

No, you have simply added another image of the same data. I asked for a WORKBOOK.

The workbook needs to show a BEFORE and AFTER - the data in your image is useless, as nothing needs sorting!!!

Re: Arranging a table of raw data in ascending order

I think you're probably going to need a VBA User Defined Function to do this.

Is your dataset going to change in size? In the first picture, your data set is only 6 rows deep and 3 columns wide, but in your 2nd picture its 10 rows deep - is it always going to vary?
If so the code will need to know how big a range to check, to put the values into an array and sort it and then put the values back in those cells in the correct order.
