How to find similar words in random cells

Hello, I need to find similar words between columns that are random. Like, I have a list of things in column 1 with no description, and I have a another bigger list of things, with descriptions of those things in column 2. The words in each row don't match, they are distributed randomly.

I tried using duplicate find rule from conditional formatting but that one found only exact duplicates, it didn't find the duplicates in the descriptions.
Sorry for making it kind of vague, got any ideas? please
