    why are Rows being added when widening the columns

    I have a fairly congested worksheet. When I widen the columns of the entire page to fit text the sheet seems to get lengthened and rows are also added automatically. Why does this happen?

    That would be hard to replicate, can you supply a sample wb so we can see what is happening?
