HELP: MCQs in excel converting responses to letters

Hello all,

I have collected responses to some multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Unfortunately, the platform I've used only displays participant responses as text rather than the letters which they have selected e.g

A- Red
B- Yellow
C- Blue
D- Brown
E- Green

The output file gives a response of Red rather than "A"

Is there a way to convert the response to letters in excel?
