    Re: Freezing multiple top column

    You can group all the sheets together, and then whatever you do on one sheet will be reflected on all the other grouped sheets. You must remember to UNGROUP the sheets when you have finished.

    So, select the first sheet tab (1), then while holding the CTRL key down, select the last sheet tab (211). That will have grouped the sheets. Then on the sheet which is visible you can click in the cell below the row which you want to fix and use View | Freeze Panes. Then right-click on a sheet tab and select Ungroup.

    Hope this helps.

    @Pete:
    … the CTRL key …
    Wouldn't that be the Shift key? I think you'd use the CTRL key to select individual sheets.

    Yes, Trevor is right. It should have been the SHIFT key, rather than the CTRL key.

    Select the first sheet. Then press and hold the Shift key and select the last sheet.

    Now select the row beneath the rows you want to freeze. Follow Pete's instructions from here.

    Don't forget to deselect the sheets or YOU WILL CORRUPT THEM if you start to enter data.

    Re: Freezing multiple top column

    It works on Sheets 2-4. so not sure why not the others. It does NOT appear to work for me when I select a group.
