Memory problems with Excel 365 and Windows 11

I recently bought a new high end laptop MSI (Intel Core i9-12900H/32GB RAM) and have had many memory problems with windows 11 and excel 365. I am confident these issues are windows 11 related because I have a similar powered desktop with windows 10 and receive none of the same problems.
I will outline a few of the problems and will attach pictures.
I have googled the issue and have tried suggested like:

Here are the issues:
1> when a popup opens it comes in transparent, you can't see anything within, I usually have to move it around for the text and buttons to appear.
2> when I delete rows, usually in mass, they don't disappear until I scroll the screen past the removed data.
3> I receive high usage warning from microsof.mashup.container.loader.exe
4> I receive, run out of resource messages when trying to compute large datasets.

I'm wondering if anyone has had similar problems, and with that, a solution. I have been debating down grading to windows 10.

Any advice would be great.

This file is 22mb, but with little conditional formatting. I have most cells as values to reduce size and increase speed. The transparent popups happen on brand new files however.

No volatile functions, not using entire rows/columns. I do use multi thread calcs though. On both the laptop with the issue and the desktop without an issue.

I do not consider this "workbook bloat" rather a software issue between windows 11 and excel 365. I haven't noticed issues with any other programs.

Yes, I tried that. I also did a test of the RAM using mdsched.

Have you tried
turning off autosave and/or disabling hibernation
Opening the file in its own instance

@ByteMarks I do not use autosave. I'm not sure what your referring to with hibernation? I open files in their own instance.

I only mention it because my place of work experienced some excel memory issues with large files and found that these options were responsible, particularly in laptops and machines with small SSDs.

You could also try saving it as an xlsb as this usually reduces the size of the file by around a third.

However, I suspect that you are probably right that it is W11 related as there do seem to be a lot of reports of transparent dialogs after "upgrading" to that OS.

Same issue with me, using Windows 11 and Excel 2021.

update - i reinstalled windows 11 and the issue hasn't appeared, yet.
