Question How to work around website timeout error in Power Query?

I've used Power Query to grab a single data item off of a website. I am now trying to expand it to multiple data items by calling a UDF that uses URL, Par01 and Par02 as variables. The UDF drills down to the information I want.

The result is a timeout error: "[DataSource.Error]The Web.Page function didn't finish within timeout of 100 seconds."

Upping the timeout time limit did not work. Is there a way of adding a (random) pause somewhere, or is there another workaround? I do not want to use VBA for this task.

Re: How to work around website timeout error in Power Query?

    Hi Pak,

If VBA was used then a "DoEvents" would be my answer. A quick search of "DoEvents and Power Query" gave me the below link. See the Answer section for a possible answer to your question.
