I'm not able to apply a simple rule based on index on another Colum. Here an example: Column A and B come with a series of values but I would like to amber column A based on values of Column B < 0

I'm not able to apply a simple rule based on index on another Colum. Here an example: Column A and B come with a series of values but I would like to amber column A based on values of Column B < 0
is that just the column next to a value thats < 0 regardless of value - or are you trying to match the value and only amber those that are the same ABS() value but negative
use a rule
highlight column A or a range A2:A100
=$B2<0
