Question To remove zero and dot in middle of number

    Good Afternoon

Does anyone know how to remove a dot and zeros in the middle of a number

    For example

    052985A.00101 should read 052985A101

    Thank you in advance

    Welcome to the forum.

That's a dot and TWO zeroes!

    Maybe this:

    =SUBSTITUTE(A1,".00","")

where A1 contains the text string.

Thank you - that removes the dot but i need to also remove the zeros in the middle of the number - thought there may be a formula which would help with this.
