    IMPORT = incorrect format

    Hi,
    I would appreciate if someone could tell me why the format from Column D (row 66-97) is incorrect after I import a HTM page from the web. This is in reference to the attachment ENG.xlsx
    The page I imported is;
    https://www.soccerassociation.com/0/2223/A20220730.htm
    At the bottom of the page there is a results section with scores from each game.
    In the xls sheet that I have attached, some scores display as dates, i.e. 2-Jan (instead of displaying the score 1-2).
    Any ideas how to correct this in terms of importing the score to display as a score and not as a date?
    Muchly appreciated
    John

    @sandy666 thanks for replying
    fyi i actually have to import thousands of these pages and thus i dont really want a table since i need to manipulate the info further after the import process. the scores are correct but the question is how was this done? due to my requirement to import thousands of pages i need the import to do it automatically. if i need to manually set a format prior to the import for the sheet then thats ok too.

    Re: IMPORT = incorrect format

    Why would having the data in tabular format prevent you from manipulating it further after import??? Don't understand the logic behind that comment.

    Sandy has imported the data using Get & Transform Data > From Web (on the Data ribbon) to access the data.

    If you still have Excel 2010, you'd need to download the PowerQuery add-in.
