Hi awesome people.,
I am trying to find a solution for a job, that I am doing. I hope to explain here and to be clear to you.
I am looking for a solution, it's either a formula or some type of text, that can tell me if I need to make an order for the product or not.
I have two tabs in my Excel sheet.
Tab 1 is where, I can see my product, how many pieces are in stock, and how many pieces have been ordered.
Tab 2 is where, I can see my order number, the quantity I have been made for the product, and the estimated date of arrival.
What I am trying to achieve is that in "Tab 1", no matter if it's in Column E or somewhere else, I need a text, "need to order",
if today's date + 30 days in the future are after the Arriving date in "Tab 2/Colum E", and vice versa, if its before "do not order". The issue, I am facing is that for each article, I have different order.
Here is an example from the sheet:
Tab 1 / Column B:
Product QTY ORDER TEXT
Table 6
Tab 2 / Column D/E
Product QTY ORDER Arriving date
Table 3 6/25/2023
Table 3 8/1/2023
In this example, I have placed an order for qty 6, but 3 qty will arrive after today's date + 30 days in the future, so I need a text "need to order"
I hope this makes sense. Of course the sheets, that I am working has hundred of items and I want to create a macro for it.
Thank you very much
