Create a barcode that needs to start with XX#

    Hello,

I am trying to create a barcode that needs to start with XX#

I have it working so that it populate with the XX# and a cell with a generated number in it to create the barcode

the only problem is that excel puts a space in the barcode where the # sign should be

It works in word but I cannot get it to work in excel, any suggestions?

    Re: Barcode

That is because they are restricted characters in Excel reserved for formula (i.e. @ & \ ) etc.,
