Quick Access Tool Bar: "Turn AutoSave On/Off" won't go away permanently

Hi,

Ever since I purchased Microsoft Excel 365 there is a reoccurring annoying problem with the Quick Access Tool Bar.

I do not want Autosave in any form. It is deselected in File/Options/Save.

With "new" or "pre-existing Spreadsheets", no matter how many times I edit the Quick Access Tool Bar [remove the "Turn AutoSave on/off"] and SAVE a file, that option randomly reappears. I've found many similar complaints on Google, but no solutions that work.

I realize it is not "doing anything", but I don't want it taking up space on the toolbar.

Have you tried 'repairing' Excel ?
