Calendar with Recurring Weekly Events

Hi! Nice to e-meet you all. I am working on a corporate calendar that has marketing campaigns. The marketing campaigns are email blasts. Most a recurring that send out on a weekly basis. A few are ad-hoc single sends. We have a "Start Date" or "Launch Date", and they recur once a week at the same date/time every week.

I found a calendar created by Pete UK that is a great start, but the events are set up to recur yearly. I'd like something similar, but need the formula to be weekly.

I think you need to mock-up what you want to see, based on a few examples. There doesn't seem to be an end-date in your data, so does the activity continue forever?

Hey Pete. I REALLY appreciate the swift response. I met with my team yesterday and have a better idea of what we are looking for.

Our main issue is that the recurring functionality is not working. All we need it to be set up as recurs weekly or not and it should reflect that way on the calendar, we hope. Also to change the Location to Time.

Also, to set up conditional formatting to be dictated by the Program Type and its' color seen in mockup tab.


Purpose:
The goal of this calendar is to see if there is any overlap when an ad-hoc campaign comes up. We have communication limits set up so that we do not want to send too many emails on the same day. The "Nurture" or "Drip" campaigns are sent out at the same date/time on a weekly basis.

Let's assume the end date for all is 1/1/2025. They are called "Always On" and essentially do run forever besides the Events.

Hi! Thanks for your time with responding. I am don't see where the sheet was changed besides adding the formula in column F. We'd like to set it up as I described above because not all of the campaigns recur on a weekly basis. Is it possible to set it up as the original sheet was?
