While handling a spectrum of very big numbers to small numbers, I like to keep the output short, summarized, concise and to the point. Hence, I found a format which partially works. I tried to fix it but no luck.
The following Excel Custom Format
[>9999999]#,##0.00,,," Cr "[$৳];[>99999]#,##0.00,," Lac "[$৳];##,##0[$ ৳]
Gives me the following result:
5 = 5 ৳
50 = 50 ৳
500 = 500 ৳
5000 = 5,000 ৳
50000 = 50,000 ৳
500000 = 0.50 Lac ৳
5000000 = 5.00 Lac ৳
50000000 = 0.05 Cr ৳
500000000 = 0.50 Cr ৳
5000000000 = 5.00 Cr ৳
50000000000 = 50.00 Cr ৳
500000000000 = 500.00 Cr ৳
We know in Bangladeshi/Indian format, there is a comma after every 2 zeros starting after the last 3 zeros. Hence as a result some results are wrong^, the actual result I'm seeking for is 500000 = 5.00 Lac ৳, 5000000 = 50.00 Lac ৳, 50000000 = 5.00 Cr ৳, 500000000 = 50.00 Cr ৳ and so on. The first 5 results are correct. What is the correct custom format, so it gives me what I'm looking for?
