Real Estate Tax Proration Calculator

Hi. New to the forum and someone on here had a Real Estate Tax Proration Calculator which is very helpful. I posted a question on that thread but the admin said I have to create a new topic. I haven't created any excel worksheets in 25 years so very rusty! I think I uploaded the attachment from the person that posted this a few years ago.

My question was...How would I add to this and have a column to show whether the tax is paid or unpaid? For example, in NYS, the school tax runs July 1 - June 30 but the bill can be paid up until Oct 10. If someone closed on October 10 and the seller had not paid the bill yet, the buyer would pay it in full and then get a credit from the seller from July 1 to October 9. Thank you!

I attached a screenshot from a website that has this calculator. Problem is it only goes to 2022. I can still use it just by entering the wrong year. In the screenshot example, the school tax starts on July 1, was not paid by the seller so the seller owes the buyer 92 days. Hope that helps!
