    How to create a formula to show the times of day that have the most incidents?

    Hello, I have a question about my school project.

    Below I have listed the instructions

    Create a spreadsheet and workbook for the recent Robberies
    2. Create Cells to show incident dates and times.
    3. Create a formula to show the times of day that have the most incidents.
    4. Create a formula to calculate frequency for days of the week.
    5. Create a chart that shows frequencies for days of week.
    6. Use data for the previous 6 – months.
    7. Save the workbook as “Capstone Project” you created.

    I have completed everything but cannot figure out a formula to use in order to show the times of days that have the most incidents. Could anyone help?

    Fast answers need visual help. Please read the yellow banner at the top of this page on how to attach a file and a mocked up solution.

    What is the granularity of your time period?

    I'd suggest you put your time periods across a row and use something like COUNTIF (or COUNTIFS)

    eg. COUNTIFS(YourTimesRange,">="&A$1,YourTimesRange,"<"&B$1)
