Hi,

We're using Excel to present informational pages to anyone in our company who wishes to dig through it. There's a handful of people who can edit the information, but for everyone else (the majority of the people) it's just an information page - a bulletin board, if you will. We're using Excel because Excel is old, and familiar, and the table format is useful. But we're using literally zero calculations. We're using none of power of Excel. We're simply using it for the rows/columns presentation format.

Using Excel is fine, I guess. It gets the job done, but presents errors such as users getting locked out because other users are in the sheet. You know - it's not really collaborative.

There's better out there - I just dont know what. I really just want something thats like a bulletin board.

Any thoughts on a better alternative?
