    Help with format

I'm attaching a file containing 2 sheets, one labeled NDX and another SPX. The preferred format is that of NDX, but I cannot make the other one be the same format (headers, etc). Can someone please advise what can be done. Many thanks in advance.

    Re: Help with format

    Still no attachment.

Fast answers need visual help. Please read the yellow banner at the top of this page on how to attach a file and a mocked up solution.

HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK: Programmernovice, Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. For a new thread (1st post), scroll to Manage Attachments, otherwise scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    Re: Help with format

sometimes what i've found when I want to copy a sheet's formatting to another sheet is to go to the upper left corner between column A and row 1 and click on the little triangle there which will highlight the whole sheet, then go to the format painter (paint brush) and click on that, then go to the sheet I want to be formatted the same and click the same spot and it will transfer the formatting over so both sheets are formatted the same. Maybe that'll work for you?

    Re: Help with format

Not sure without seeing your format but have you tried using a pastespecial, pasting column widths? When you pastespecial 'All' it doesn't do column widths.
