Excel conditional formatting - applying rule for individual cells to multiple cell block

    Hi Guys,

I'm a bit stuck with a spreadsheet. So I have a block of cells with a yes/no drop down bar. I'm able to conditionally format each cell so that if it says yes, the colour changes...however, I can't find a quick way of doing this for a whole block of cells, other than to individually enter the conditional formatting for each cell.

So to clarify, I want each individual cell in the range D2:I21 to turn green if the value is "YES"

    Help please!

Most welcome ( the trick here is to ignore any absolute referencing in the condition). thanks for the rep
