Date and Time, Convert to General format but preserve formatting appearance

Hi, how do I convert dates and times from Date format to General format while preserving its appearance?

When I copy and paste values, it automatically converts 7:00 PM to 0.791667

So far the only way to preserve the format is to copy and paste with source formatting but this will transfer the Excel built in Time formatting

I want 7:00 PM in Time format to convert to 7:00 PM in General format.

Please do this without any formulas or manual replacing of characters as I am working with large amounts of data.

Can't be done any other way. General formatting will show the underlying number associated with the time or date.

When you copy and paste with source formatting, you will get what you want.

Is there any other alternative? I need to import CSV in a very specific format

Why not provide a sample CSV file for us to look at - then we can better advise.

Based on what you have said so far, no.

Ok so I had to use the TEXT formula, copy and paste values, then copy the whole thing to Google Sheets and export it from there in order for it to work

You said that a formula was not acceptable:

Please do this without any formulas or manual replacing of characters as I am working with large amounts of data.
