Excel Calendar, Display "To Do" item across calendar dates

Using a template previously found. I added an "End Date" Column to the "To Do List"; however, seeking assistant with getting the "To Do" Item name to populate across the range of the "Start Date" to "End Date".

For Example: Display "Class" on each date from 1 Jan 2024 to 3 Jan 2024.

It is okay if the same item is listed across the dates, I am just trying to get it to populate.

    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

Is your forum profile showing the Excel PRODUCT that you need this to work for?

Members will tailor the solutions they offer to the Office PRODUCT (Excel, NOT Windows) that you have. Please check that your forum profile is up-to-date in this respect. If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File | Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your product is for Mac, please also state this.

The three most recent Excel products are Excel 2019, Excel 2021 and MS365 - if you are using MS365, please give this name along with the version number in your profile (e.g. MS365 Version 2306). This is in the About Excel section further down the Account page.

    Thanks.
    Ali

The calendar file that I attached to Post #29 in this thread:

    https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...-workbook.html

copes with date ranges. It does this by expanding the events list (automatically) to have one entry for each day for each date range. There are probably other things in the file that you don't need, like the conditional formatting, bu you might be able to adapt the things which do apply to you.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

Thanks so much for your help! With the link provided, I was able to tailor what you had previously worked on to what I needed! I’m fiddling with it to make it even more useful; however, I’ve a bottom tabbed out calendar that automatically updates based off engagements that span several days, with multiple engagements in any one given day, each colored to the type of engagement that I want to it be.

Well, that sounds like a very useful start - glad to help you along the way.

Also, since you are relatively new to the forum, you might like to know that you can directly thank those who have helped you by clicking on the small "star" icon located in the lower left corner of a post that you have found to be helpful (not just in this thread - for any post that has helped you).
