Distribution of closing balance to open pending invoices

I don't understand what you want, however the values in column K could be yielded by pasting the following into cell K2 and dragging the fill handle down to cell K8:

I appreciate your prompt reply and I am sorry could not interact with you .The results that I have mentioned in column K are the once worked out but me to make you understand what I finally want . Ignore the column K for your workings. I need the closing balance given in G 10 to be distribute among figures in column G if worked out in a reverse manner than it should leave the same result as in column K.

That is if closing balance is to be worked out in a reverse order than it would carry sum of these invoices.Kindly note that the distribution should be limited to the closing balance.

92243.00 if bifurcated in reverse order it should fetch in a separate column.For this the set off of positive values against negative also needs to be executed and than remainder figures be worked out to reach the result

The reason for doing the above is because I am not able to retrieve the past year data than I do not get the up to down ageing proper and so need to work out the bills in reverse order

The formula does not use the previously placed values in column K but replaces them.
If you put this in cell L2 and drag the fill handle down to cell L8 you will get the same results: =IF(G2>0,MIN(G2,G$10-SUM(L3:L$9)),0)
If it happens that you want something like the following in column G, it will set up a circular reference error: =IF(G2>0,MIN(G2,G$10-SUM(G3:G$9)),0)
