    Replicating conditional formatting (icon sets)

    Hi

Could anyone point me in the right direction please as i've spent several hours trying to replicate conditional formatting where I've used Icon Sets.

I've got one cell to work correctly but it's used and absolute reference so when i try to copy down / across or copy paste special the icons always relate to the original single cell.

I've tried making the reference relative but get a message saying this is not allowed when using the icon sets.

I could just skip the icons and use CF to fill the cells but the arrows look better so would like to get them working if it is possible

I've uploaded an example sheet to show what I've done and trying to do

    Thank youdata.xlsx

You have run up against a failing in CF in that you cannot use icon sets with relative references. You could look at using formulae with Wingdings instead, if that might work for you. CF is long-overdue a major upgrade!

You can do it with vba, even just as a one-off in the xlsx file.
