    Sumif by Account and Date

    Worksheet 1:

Column A a listing of various Accounts of income producing properties; there are 7 "unique" accounts

Column B a listing of dates of deposits or withdrawals from those accounts

Column C & D the types of deposits made each day (if any) into each account, with C being via cash and D via check

Columns E, F, G, H, & I the types of withdrawals by dates from the accounts such as interest paid, taxes, fees distributions to beneficiaries of the various accounts, etc.

    Worksheet 2:

Column A the same list from column A from Worksheet 1

Column B the various months (as opposed to days) of the various Account activities (i. e., deposits and/or withdrawals) listed on Worksheet 1

What I am looking for is a formula for each cell columns C through I in Worksheet 2, by month

    Any help?

    Thanks in advance

Which version of Excel are you using?

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
