Date wise data output in index function

Hi Gd evening..

I have attached a Inward & Outward chart "new inward & outward" which is showing the garment inward and outward progress. I am entering all data in "input data" sheet and getting result in "Output data" sheet. i am using some index formula in "Output" sheet, but i am not satisfied on the result.

I have attached "Book1" excel here and i have mentioned actual result i want. Pls help to get this result.

Hi Jetemc,

Thanks for your help. I filled some data to check the result and i have find some improvements to achieve the result. Pls help me on it,

The "Output data" Column "A" - Date need to viewed order wise (21.02, 22.02, 23.02 etc..) But now its viewed as shuffled
The "Output data" Column "C" - Quantity not matched with the "input data" checked with the total in "C37"
The "Output data" Column "D" - A quantity repeats again and again and the total in "D37" will be wrong.

To get the dates in order:
1. Sort the InputData table by date
2. Populate column A (ReportTable1) using:

Note: Cell C37 displays "Total: 2462" which is the sum of 720, 354, 208, 360 and 820

Sorry for the delay reply...
I find that D8, D10 & D13 etc data in "output data" have to be shift in the next next cell (ie. d9, d11 & d14) against for the Dc no 3618, 3619 & 3621. Where do i change the formula?
