Split an amount based on shares and number of people
Hi,
Attached file got two sheets. one with amount and second with the amount split based on shares.
If you enter a figure in the shares column, it is then split into that many rows but I want this amount shown per person on the next row only and same with 50% share. so the split value shown on e12 for 100% share and f12 for 50% share.
Could someone please assist with this formula?

There's no signposing or annotations in the sample workbook - where shall we find your mock-up of expected results?

i tried but couldn't yield the results needed. still splitting into multiple rows.
You haven't mocked up your expected results for the sample datset, so I have no idea what we are aiming for. See my last post.
if the total amount in cell b12 is €485, the split at 100% share for 5 people will be €80.83 and 50% share for 2 people will be €40.42
need this €80.83 shown in e12 and €40.42 in f12.
In E12 copied down:
=IFERROR(LET(s,B12/((C12*2)+D12),HSTACK(s*2,s)),"")

Oops - sorry, you don't have Excel 365, so it won't work. Or do you??? If you do, then you need to update your forum profile without delay. MAKEARRAY is certainly a 365 function!
