    Re: I can't figure out how to wrap a date

    Hi and welcome top the forum

    Using a regular date, you cant, because a date is actually a 5-digit number (today is 41554). So unless you are using text - or convert it to text, you cannot break it apart.

    maybe =TEXT(E15,"d mmm")&CHAR(10)&" "&TEXT(E15,"yy")
    format as wrapped text

    Select the cell in question, custom format type: dd mmm
    then key alt+0010 using the numeric keypad, then yy. The Excel internal numeric value is unchanged for calcs.

    welcome to the forum. an alternative way using protonLeah's method, you could press CTRL + J instead of alt+0010.
