Strange - formula is visible instead of executing

It happend first time to me, after adding formula like =a1+a2
I see formula in the cell instead of sum of 2 cells.
Whats happend I have no clue ??

Hi

tools / options / view - ensure formulas is unticked

if that's not the problem, it could be that your cell is formatted to text,
choose a blank cell on another worksheet and copy it
select your cell and choose edit / paste special ADD - ok
then F2 F9 and enter

if you've got lots of cells that were text instead of using the F2 F9
method, choose edit / replace
find a =
replace with a =
replace all

Format, Cells, General --- and then renter formula or place cursor in
Formula bar and press enter
