Using Excel 2003 SP-2 and I have a user who wants to type in 434 and have it
display as 434,000. The column will be a series of these types of numbers
(434 to 434,000; 233 to 233,000, etc.) Could someone tell me how to do so?
Thank you.

Tools-->Options-->Edit-->Fixed Decimal Places-->change to -3.
Please keep in mind that this is a GLOBAL setting. if you have more than
one workbook open, they all will do the same conversion.
