    protecting formula cells in a worksheet

    I'm using some formula in a worksheet.
    I want to protect the formula so that the user can't change the formula.
    any help..how to do this..

    Hi,

    You need to protect the cells by accessing the Tools menu, selectiong Protection > Sheet. By default all cells will be locked unless you change the properties of the cell (you will want to do this with any cells that you wantthe users to continue to enter data in). To keep these cells unlocked, select them, right click and select Format Cells. From the fomatting window go to the Protection tab and uncheck Locked.
