Copying Conditional Formatting Colors from a Cell

I am able to get a cell in a column called Status to change fill colors based on the text that is entered into the cell. What I want to do now is have the rest of the row change fill color to match that conditional color in the Status column cell. Is there a way to do this?

    Hi,

Try to avoid selecting the whole row.

Say your data in Col A to Col H.

Select say A1 to H100. Then enter this in CF under formula

    =$A1="Status"

Assumes col A is the col that triggers CF and the word "Status" is the trigger
