    Delete all?

    From the Excel Main Menu:

    (If only cells are selected.....)
    <edit><delete>....Check: entire row.....Press [ENTER]
    or
    <edit><delete>....Check: entire column.....Press [ENTER]

(If entire rows or columns are selected)
    <edit><delete>

    Does that help?

I didn't explain very well!!! It's erasing columns and rows.

I now how to delete rows and columns. The question is that i have seen a sheet that has only 5 rows and 6 columns, and the rest are gone with a background gray. They don't even have address. So i know that it is possible to erase complety the cells that doesn't matter to me. I only need 1 page with the cells i need. The others i want to erase it.

    Can you help me.

Select the columns you don't want to see and while selected right click > select hide then repeat for rows

I think I understand....You're asking if you can reduce the number of available rows and columns, right?

The 65,536 rows and 256 columns (in Excel 2003) will ALWAYS be available for ultimate use. If you want, though, you can hide the rows and columns that you don't want visible in any way. Then, use sheet protection to prevent users from unhiding them. (The hidden rows/columns will appear as non-descript gray sections under Excel menus and toolbars.

    Does that help?
