    Win-Loss Sheet

    Hi,

I'm an excel novice, and I haven't been able to find anything like this anywhere, so hopefuly you all can help me. Thanks in advance.

Ok, here's what I'm trying to do: I'm trying to calculate potential win-loss records between every team in a basketball league.

For instance, let's say we have the following data:

    *Shooting Percentage*
    Team 1: .856
    Team 2: .567
    Team 3: .695
    Team 4: .536

    *PTS total*
    Team 1: 851
    Team 2: 235
    Team 3: 239
    Team 4: 256

Now, if I do it by hand, Team 1 would be 2-0 against Team 2 because Team 1 has a higher shooting percentage and higher point total. Team 3 would be 1 and 1 versus team 4 because Team 3 has a higher shooting percentage but a lower point total.

I'd like to be able to calculate the potential records of every team versus every team for 9 categories. Is this even possible?

    Thanks,

Unfortunately, I'm not following your formula...or I'm missing something. I need to apply it for 8 teams and 9 statistical categories, but I couldn't make it work right.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
