formula referencing same cells but different sheets

    hi all,

i hope i'm posting under the correct topic...

i have one workbook with 2 worksheets in it.

i want to refernce some cells in one sheet and some cells in the other sheet in one formula. so, in the formula, i'm referring to C4 from sheet A and C4 from sheet B.

how do i make the distinction in the formula?

    thanks!

Add the sheet name followed by an ! symbol before the cell reference...

e.g. if the sheet name is "B", then =B!C4
Where there is a will there are many ways.
