Multiple Pivot tables using single Pivotcache

    Hello all,

I have 8 pivot tables that all use the same source data which is in the same workbook as the pivot tables. I have a very slow network, and i am told that all the pivot tables use a different pivotcache, but it is possible to make them all use the same pivotcache, will will reduce the file size and hence make it quicker to load over the network.

Is it possible to use a single pivotcache, and will it reduce the file size?

And of course how do i go about doing it?

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, and welcome to the board
as far as I know, after you have created a PT using a list, when creating more PT's based on the sam list XL asks you if you want to use the same cache.
Just answer " yes" and do the same for other PT's.
