    Work-arounds to the 2007 Ribbon?

Hey all - are there any work-arounds to the 2007 Ribbon? I've customized my Quick Access toolbar - but it's limited in size and to just one line.

FWIW - I'm finding the ribbon utterly useless - and worse - wholly non-efficient and non-productive. It's a major pain and I just want my old 2003 menus and tool bars back. They were FAST, efficient, customizable, and most important - USER FRIENDLY. The ribbon is a monster I'd like to zap permanently - an unfriendly TROLL on my otherwise great Excel product.

Maybe there's a way to programmatically create my own custom tool-bar in Excel and eliminate that ribbon monster?

    Thanks, I appreciate that.

Have you tried either of these to know how well they work, if there are glitches or issues with them?

With time, I could program my own custom menus and toolbars, I suppose - not my strong point in VBA though. Willing to shell out some money I guess if there are no issues with the installation/software. It'd certainly save me some time.

You can't build menus or toolbars in Excel 2007, it doesn't support them
    Hope that helps.
