Edit spreadsheet on one PC, formatting messed up on other

I have a spreadsheet that I need to update on my networked pc, and have the changes reflected when another network user opens the sheet. However, if I edit it on my pc, the layout does not carry over, and the column/row/print area get messed up.

    Thanks.

A couple of things cause that, the screen resolution may not be the same on both machines (they both may be capable of the same but not set the same) and as for your printing are they printing on the same machine? if not then the margins and page set-up will be different!
Not all forums are the same - seek and you shall find

    Different res, different printer

Thanks for the reply. The other user has a different res monitor than mine, but is printing to their local printer. I would think that if I'm only changing or adding data in a row, saving it to their drive shouldn't impact the column/row/print layout...but, it is Excel. :0)

It will change as everything you do is with regards your machine and the printer you print too, the view is set in your excel, they will have a different view.
