Formatting Questions

Hey Everybody,

I am having a couple of strange formatting issues that I hope you can help with.

1) I have chosen a Custom format in my financials so that zeroes will be returned as "-". In one row, there are a few cells that are returning "(0)" and a few that are returning "0", but the vast majority are returning how they are supposed to. I have copied and pasted the format from other cells that are working properly as well as checked the cells where the number is calculated from. I have ensured that they are all the same formatting as the other cells.

The format is _($* #,##0_);_($* (#,##0);_($* "-"??_);_(@_)

2) The second question has to do with what appears to be a border. There are random segments that have a thick border underneath them that I can't get rid of. I have tried selecting no border, changing the border, underlining, un-underlining and can't get it to go away. It appears to fade a bit if you try to underline the cells. I have tried to copy and paste format here as well.
