I have an Excel sheet that I've been using for years that normally prints as 1 page wide and one page long, at a scale of 85% or so. The worksheet might change by a few rows (either adding or subtracting) but overall stays about the same average size.
Today when I went to print the page it ended up as 2 pages wide and two pages long. Print preview shows a tiny thumbnail size image of each of the four pages, with a big grey border around it. Going to page setup shows that fit to 1 page long X 1 page wide is still selected, but the adjust to box has been reset to 10%.
If I go into page break preview and try to drag the breaks I get the following error message.
If I actually do print with it at the adjust to 10% size, it comes out on the page at full size. Same thing if I print at 100%. Font sizes and font have not changed.Microsoft excel cannot move the page break because doing so would reduce the scale below the minimum 10 percent...
I've tried removing print areas, closing the document without saving and reopening, restarting the computer, but nothing is working so far. A Google search for the error got a couple of hits, but no solutions.
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
