I daily have to convert 50 excel workbooks to PDF (Adobe 9), in the work books are 6 worksheets, I only want to convert 4 of these sheets to PDF. I can do it one at a time and it takes like 2 minutes each. I want to be able to do all 50 workbooks at one time?
I also have to digitally sign 2 of the work sheets in a certain area either before they are PDF or after they are changed,is there a way for me to digitally sign all 100 worksheets (2 Signatures per workbook) at one time?
my biggest thanks to all!
The easiest way I have found to convert selected sheets to pdf is by hiding the sheets you do not want converted, then when you go to file=>print then select entire workbook all sheets but the hidden one should convert to 1 pdf file.
If this works, you would be best to create a loop using VBA to loop through all the workbooks in the folder, hiding the one sheet, then printing to PDF, then unhiding the sheet again. That kind of code can be written using the Macro Recorder to start then cleaned up later, but then that would be a new topic in the Excel Programming forum.
I have tried several converters and they don't seem to work for me. But I did not use the idea of hiding the pages. I am going to try that and from now on when I make the Workbook I will use the one with the hidden pages and maybe it will work, I will let you know. Thanks for the help! Now if I can figure how to digitally sign all of them on the given cell, I would be saving hours of work.
Thanks again to all!
