Excel 2007 : Macro to "create a copy" overwriting worksheet elements

I have a worksheet that contains a several listboxes, dependent data validation, and checkboxes. What I am trying to do is create a macro that will copy the entire worksheet (listboxes and all). I've recorded a macro to create a copy of the worksheet. However, when I actually run the macro, it overwrites each of the elements on both the original and the newly created copy. I've looked for solutions that might help me with this within this forum, but couldn't find anything that would do the trick.

I should add that I have very limited familiarity with VBA, so I'm sure this looks like a mess. Any help would be appreciated.
