Goodday
I'm trying to select a cell with a number in , and when using the little cross in the bottom right of the cell and drag down the column then each number increases by 1.eg 1,2,3,4 etc .
Like that when i do it with a date , each day increases by one.
This so that i can give a unique number to the ajoining cells content.

After placing your first number n, simply right click instead of left click ( the little cross), drag down and then select "fill series"
You need 2 numbers before you drag, otherwise it repeats the one number in the cell!
put 1 and 2 in the 2 cells then drag the handle!
Dragging tries to complete the sequence so it needs the clue as to what to increment, placing 1,3 in the 2 cells will create a sequence of odd numbers!
